Ancient Luxor and its attractions
Luxor can be called the pearl of Egypt. This is a small town located on the right bank of the Nile River. This city was once the famous capital of ancient Egypt. Having been in Luxor, it is worth visiting the tombs, carved directly into the rocks. When you visit the temple you will be amazed by the beauty of the painted walls, as well as the vault of the burial chamber in the form of a starry sky. To this day, within the temple we can see the ancient mosque. In general, the entire territory of the temple has a length of about a quarter of a kilometer along the river. At the entrance pylon previously located six statues, but now there are only three kollos. Each of them reaches a height of 20 meters. They depict Ramses II and his wife Nefertari (Nefertiti).
