Spain is a great place for an interesting holiday filled with a real holiday. The homeland of great poets and artists is famous for the hospitality and hospitality of the locals. The most mountainous country in Europe with a hot climate and unique beauty turns rest into an adventure full of events, spectacles and feelings. The country is a dream, where the flaming flamenco and exciting bullfights appeared.
There are 4 official languages in Spain, this already speaks volumes. Even nearby areas can be very different from each other. Spain is so many-sided and diverse that you lose yourself in front of a large choice – where to rest in Spain. After all, each place is attractive in its own way. The best resorts in Spain
Costa Blanca is a paradise for children and adults. It combines excellent climatic conditions with a culture of respect for older people and children.
This is a place where nobody is in a hurry, nobody shouts at anyone and proves nothing. Cars drive slowly, everyone passes pedestrians. In the afternoon, from 13 to 17 o’clock – time of fiesta, nobody works. Nowhere you will see the garbage, the roads are washed with shampoo. Among the flowering trees and flowers in the parks and alleys, people walk with dogs and greet, even with strangers. The first days everything seems unusual, but gradually you get used to this rhythm of life and feel great!
According to the British, Costa Blanca is an ideal place for squash, cricket, golf. For fans of this expensive sport there are beautifully equipped fields and even specialized hotels are built. Many foreigners come here precisely because of golf at a time when there are few tourists to enjoy the peace and exclusive service.
The second most popular place is Guadix, one of the provinces of Granada. Located on a high plateau, Guadix is primarily famous for its ancient cave quarter, Barrio de Santiago, where the Gypsy community of 10,000 people still lives today. Not only dwellings have been cut down in the rocks, but also schools, churches, and shops.
Ubeda and Baesa are two quiet provincial towns. After these cities were conquered from the Arabs in 1234, large families competed in the construction of medieval palaces. Old mosques were rebuilt into gothic churches. But the real flourishing and construction boom came with the arrival of large patrons in 1492. Numerous churches of the Renaissance, palaces located among the olive groves, the monuments surprise at every step. Most tourists tend to get into large tourist centers and cities, of course, they have a lot of interesting and well-developed infrastructure, but small medieval villages are no less attractive. For example, such as the villages of Castilla, where you can see the real ancient monasteries and castles, walls, and nature pleases the eye.
The pearl of island Spain – Majorca
A lot of places where rest in Spain will be interesting. At least for a short time you should visit Trevelez in the mountains of Sierra Nevada, Bilbao, El Chorro Bay near Nevada. Holidays in Spain is possible not only on the coast or in the central part of the country. Especially unforgettable stay can be on the islands.
Mallorca is a large and very beautiful island in the western part of the Mediterranean. Interesting may be an excursion to the monastery in Valldemos, its age is more than 500 years. These places have glorified Frederic Chopin and French writer George Sand. You can visit the museum of their life and work. Ride on an ancient wooden tram, admiring the beauty of the mountains and forests, you can dine in the restaurant of the Costa Nord, where they cook very tasty.
A visit to the island leaves a lot of vivid impressions! To the east of the Costa del Sol is Nerja. Essentially, this is a Spanish village, sandwiched between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. This place is known for its unusual caves with prehistoric paintings and a 16-kilometer beach. Among the sand, picturesque rocks and boulders crash into the sea. Miraculously, Nerja escaped multi-storey buildings, basically, there are 2-3-storey houses with white walls, on narrow iron balconies there are pots with flowers. Going down to the sea through the narrow streets, you can get to the famous Balcony of Europe.
Quiet town is suitable for a romantic getaway for two or for lovers of secluded relaxation. Beautiful and temperamental Spain, carefully preserving the ancient traditions, will give its guests a rich nightlife, entertainment and delicious wine!
