Robert Robertsson, the owner of this unusual hotel, has always sought to create a comfortable environment for his visitors, so that they enjoy the maximum, while not suffering from the cold.
After all, the Northern Lights can be seen only in the winter, and this time in Iceland is not only frosty, but the piercing icy wind will not allow enough to enjoy this incredible natural phenomenon. Yes, and “catch” it is not so easy, because very often the sky is overcast, and for such a spectacular phenomenon, in the literal sense of the word, you have to “hunt.”
Therefore, Robertsson, having similar portable huts as samples, which were developed by the French designer Pierre-Stefan Dumas, designed special transparent numbers of five different types. Which even gave names – Una, Asta, Thorunn, Valdis and Maria. Created plastic hemispheres are 4 meters in diameter, and their height reaches 3 metros.
Each design is installed on a wooden platform, and the non-bubbles themselves are made of fire-resistant plastic with a special sunscreen that protects against UV rays. Each such bubble is absolutely unique, and differs from the others depending on the specific requests of visitors and the package of services provided.
In general, the original transparent huts look almost the same, they always have a double bed, and the bathroom, bathroom, jacuzzi and kitchen are nearby.
